1988-89 Alice O'Malley (No 36)

Alice O'Malley (1914 - 2004) was born in Chicago, Illinois. Her father, a brother of first Chieftain John J O'Malley, emigrated to the USA fromm Westport in the early years of the 20th century. Alice worked for Bell Telephone in Chicago and was a key figure in organisingthe Chicago branch of the O'Malley Clan. She was elected Chieftain of the O'Malley Clan Association in 1988 and held her Gathering in Westport in 1989
